I am living in a city that is occupied by human beings. In my everyday life, I almost overlook the fact that human beings are just one species among thousands. The relationship between humans and animals could be really strong, specially if you have pet, as you might feel like you understand what your pet thinks. In Japan, I have been exposed to the Manga comic culture, which makes the boundaries between human beings and animals vague and obscure. In Manga everything is possible, the world is a fiction made up through drawing, through pen on white paper. This culture unconsciously gave me an idea that there is another universe existing somewhere.

I would like to create this universe, mixing different elements and combining these with my Japanese roots, which has a hint of the comic taste, to create original images to be transferred into fabrics. I use a mixture of digital, machine and hand processes to create fabrics for womenswear fashion.
